A Blast of Winter…

Yup…Victoria, BC had a blast of winter this week and received a few inches of SNOW…SEW…what’s a girl to do?  Well STITCH of course…and that’s just what Claire did…Is this not the most  appropriate project to work on during a snow storm in the middle of WINTER!  This is the WINTER mat by Buttermilk Basin!  Claire even took a picture of it laying in the SNOW!!

And Glynis’ “Donner and Blitzen” Wall hanging, a Jan Patek design is dang sweet!!  I love the fabrics that she used in hers! I see stars in the quilting…yup I’m liking this one…A LOT!

Glynis set a goal this year to make a pillow for each month of the year…and February’s is ahhhhhdorable!!  It’s telling me that Spring is in the air…along with a little lovin’!

  4. The snowman is adorable and so is the birds and hearts. I like how the snowman runner picture was taken with it right on top of real snow. So appropriate.

  7. So glad you found my email with links to pattern.
I've found when searching it's easier to find something if you insert the word "image" into your google search.
The pdf shows blank for a little while then all of a sudden there it is ;-). Hope this helps.
