Does This Runner Look Familiar?

Do you ever look at a pattern or a project and think…Hmmm?…this  looks VERY familiar?!

image

That was the case when I saw this NEW pattern over at Primitive Gatherings’ Online Store!  Gorgeous, isn’t it?  What about YOU…do YOU recognize this runner??

Well whatever you do, DON’T ORDER IT until you’ve checked your magazines, as you may already own this pattern !!  It was featured in American Patchwork and Quilting…DEC 2007!! Not sew new!

Here’s the magazine that it was in…ring any bells?

  P1210146

The pattern is called ‘Poinsettia and Pine’ and it was designed by Tammy Johnson of Joined at the Hip.  P1210147

Yup, this one is on my “TO DO LIST” …and it’s been on that list for SIX LONG YEARS!!  I predict that 2013 is ‘THE YEAR’ to get ‘er done!  How about you?…Have you got something on your list that’s been there LONG ENOUGH and that NEEDS to get done in 2013??

Come on, it’s now or never…Join the ‘Let’s Get ‘er Done Team’ and we can get ‘er done together!  Let’s bang off a few of these puppies!  Judging by all the yellow stickies dog-earring this magazine there are a few more projects that need doing….:oO

Have a Wicked Wednesday and Happy Quilting!~P

PS…YIKES!!  ANOTHER familiar one over at Primitive Gatherings!!

  2. Good grief! I wonder how many patterns I have duplicates! Good eye and I'm sure I've got that magazine too! I'm so glad you share this kind of info!!!

  3. Very intriguing, looks easy enough not to need a pattern... but I have several UFOs that need finishing in 2013 before I start another project! LOL! ~Lynda

  4. I notice that a lot lately and see patterns that look like they are remakes from the 80's magazines, lol.

  5. Love the runner... looks like the top could be stitched over a weekend. Your memory will be saving some dollars for those that still have that mag!

I've been thinking for a couple of weeks now that 2013 will be a year of finishes! I just need to sit and draw out a plan... I've got quilt kits, cross stitch kits, and many, many, patterns and books with multiple projects in them! Not to mention rugs to hook... what a great dilema to have! lol!

  10. Great looking table runner. I have learned to always look in magazines before buying a pattern.
