My Garden…

Word has it that the Spring flowers are all in bloom back home…but not to despair!  I just need to turn to the pictures of the last quilt that I took pictures of at the Palm Spring Quilt Show…to the MY GARDEN Quilt by Heart to Hand and my heart beats a little faster!

She was magnificent…right down to the bunny jumping over the daisies!

There was a punch of colour in each corner provided by the red flowers…and I loved the plaid yarn dyed Japanese fabrics that the quilter used in the border!

The workmanship was perfection!  All the background fabrics were different shades of white/cream Daiwabo fabrics, which provided added interested and texture to the Garden.

Up close and personal…See perfection right down to that wee lady bug!

Each block was a work of art…

Yes, I really enjoyed the walk through this quilter’s garden!

I wish you could see this quilt in REAL life…even better!

And the icing on the cake?  Yup…there was plenty of icing…check out the beautiful hand quilting…can you see it?  Itty bitty leaves and vines all over her Garden…

Can you see them now?  A lovely touch and such a surprise!

Here’s the card that went with the quilt…Karen Sheppard made the quilt and Betty Barney hand quilted it!  Now that was team work at it’s best!
