Yes, there REALLY is a Santa….

… her  name is Carolyn and she works for Accuquilt GO!

I got an email from Santa Carolyn asking me if I wanted to host a GO! Give Away and would I like one of my own?  My first thought…who’s messing with me?  This cannot be for real! …BUT if I learned anything when my husband won an IPod Touch last year…NEVER EVER HANG UP till you have ALL the facts!

So I emailed back and said YES, I’d love one!!  I figured what the hay…when she asks for money I will say forget it!! BUT to make a short story even shorter – I WON A ACCUQUILT GO! FABRIC CUTTING MACHINE~(dancing a little jig here!!) PLUS I GOT TO PICK THREE DIES OF MY CHOICE!! (now clicking my heels together in rapid succession :o) I don’t think I have ever been this excited before!!  It must be out of this world to win the Lottery…frankly I don’t think I could take it!!  And I mean this!  I really do!!

image

Isn’t she pretty?  She folds up so sleek…I will have no trouble folding her up and putting her under the bed when we travel!!  She’s going to my new best friend…but I need to give her a name…??

Decisions…decisions..Oh, man was it ever difficult trying to pick out three dies…you need to GO! to the Accuquilt website and have a look around- incredible!!  There are pages and pages of die designs…I had to phone my friend Claire and together we went through the whole line of die cutters…and narrowed it down to the 2 1/2” strip cutter (Jelly Roll size), the 1 1/2 “ strip (Honey Bun, borders, log cabins, strips) and the 4” Quarter Square Triangles.  Whew!  It took us well over two hours…we hummed and heeeed and hawwed…very serious business, ya’ know!

So now I wait…and wait…and wait…Once I get my machine I will show you everything she can do…there are tons of videos out there and I have watched most of them!…She is incredible and SEW smart!!

THEN the fun will REALLY start because I get to GIVE A GO! AWAY to one of my lucky followers!  AND IT JUST MIGHT BE YOU!!  Then we can GO! have fun together!! So stay tuned….

Thanks SEW much, ACCUQUILT and Carolyn!!  Boy, I bet you LOVE to GO! to work everyday, put on your Santa suit and make some lucky quilter’s day!  Imagine doing that for a living!!

In the meantime…I really do need to think of a name for my GO! …because once she arrives she is GO!ing no where!!…She’s home to stay!!

Have a super Saturday and Happy Quilting!~P

  29. How cool is that! I know you'll have a blast and put it to good use, Paulette.

I think Virginia...or Ginny...would be an appropriate name as in, "Yes, Virginia. There really is a Santa Claus".
