When you write a blog there are no secrets! I am THRILLED to tell you that my middle daughter and her husband are expecting a BABY BOY in FEBRUARY...:o)))
When asked what kind of a baby quilt she wanted, my DD picked a low volume herringbone pattern...She didn't want bright, in your face fabric..so when I found Moda's 'Darling Little Dickens' fabric in Calgary I was THRILLED...this line of fabric has the sweetest prints...in soft subtle colours...
SO...I pulled out the pinks and set them aside...
...and whipped up some HST... and presto...herringbone pattern in the sweetest fabrics...EVER!
Yesterday I got four rows together before I called it a day!
What to do with all those PINK fabrics?
Why put it into the BABY GIRL quilt of course! My eldest daughter and her husband are expecting a BABY GIRL in JANUARY!!! (Insert happy dance here!!) Yup, when it rains, it pours...and this GRAMMY is DRIPPING with excitement!! It's going to be a very exciting 2017 for our families, filled with babies...one of each! How blessed am I!:o))) And you know what BABIES means...QUILTS, lots and lots of quilts....! Stay tuned...! :o)))
Have a fun Friday and Happy Stitching!~P
