Progress....?

Progress Report on the Orange Peels blocks....this has been the project that I take to Heritage Quilt Guild...we talk and stitch...talk and stitch...more often than naught, it's been more talk than stitch but slowly...here a peel, there a peel, she getting done..
Slowly the 'done' pile has grown slightly taller than the unfinished pile (the stack to the left)....

Someday this one WILL get done!  I may be 101 but it WILL get done! :o)

Have a Magical Monday (make them disappear!!) and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. Wow! I just love your orange peels. There's a lot of work with this pattern but I sure love the look of orange peel quilts. I've got an orange peel Minick and Simpson kit sitting in my closet. I love looking at the fabrics. ;)) Maybe someday I'll stop looking and get motivated - your blocks are very inspirational!!

  2. Great vintage feel to this one. Don't we all need several "forever" projects? : )

  3. And what's the hurry anyway!? Savor the slow stitching. It's always nice to have a portable project that you can grab 'n go!

  4. That is one of the prettiest orange peel quilt I've seen. I think the varied backgrounds really make it.

  5. Fun to have a take along project to visit with friends or waiting for an appointment. By the time I dug mine out the other day I was called in and hadn't even had time to thread the needle. Another woman was fascinated with the idea.
