Home Sweet Home...

There is nothing Sweeter than HOME...no matter how humble it may be!.  It's yours and yours alone...even if you share it with a whole houseful!  Having lived in my house for almost 35 years, I have some of the best, most wonderful memories!

As I was stitching swirls on the border to my Wee House Quilt I was thinking of our own house and neighbourhood...and all those sweet memories...and before I knew it, I had stitched "home sweet home' into the line of stitches!  My quilt had taken on a new form...Before I knew it, other words followed...all the things that I found in my house/home...like love and hugs, creating and laughter, joy and dreams, friends and neighbours.  Before I knew it, I had gone full circle and was back at the top of the quilt...to the words "home sweet home".  I still had words to add...but then, there would ALWAYS be words to add...so I put down my needle!  Stitching done!

Rejoice is something that I always do when arriving home from Snowbirding!  No matter where we go, who we've see, what we've done...it always feels wonderful to be HOME!!

And of course friends and neighbours HAVE to be added!  We have the best neighbours!

And back to the top...

So...have you thought of what words you would add to your Home Sweet Home quilt?  Care to share...?

I have the binding cut out and ready to go!  It's time to put this quilt to bed!...

I think this is going to be one of my all time favourite quilts!  I know, I know...I say that all the time...but...:o)

Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P
