B-Bopping Along…

Do you remember my friend, Siena?  She is one of the Club House Quilters from The Sands RV Park in Desert Hot Springs.  During the Summer, Siena and her husband, Jack, enjoy living in Sechelt which is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.  When the rains come in the Fall, they hightail it to their home in Desert Hot Springs!  They have the best of both worlds!

This is a picture of Siena doing her thing in the Clubhouse while Snowbirding last winter.

A couple of weeks ago Siena and Jack were in Victoria for the day, so Siena and I arranged to have lunch together!  To make a long story short…Siena has bought the mother of all long-arm frames and machine and she is gifting me her B-Line Frame!!  YES, you heard right…she is GIVING me her B-Line!!  The original plan was to take it to The Sands for all the quilters to use but that fell through…so now that just leaves me! (insert happy dance here!!) Thank YOU so much Siena!!  Such a thoughtful and generous gift!!  I know…I know…Jack wants the B-Line boxes gone but still…an incredible gift!

So on behalf of ALL The SANDS RV Park Quilters I will do my duty to  PLAY with this frame…I promise to work her every day…give her lots of attention and affection and keep her happy and content!  I hope my Janome will like her just as much as I will…but if not, I will be looking for a machine that is compatible…but first things first, one step at a time!

This is a picture of the frame after Jack put it together this week…isn’t she pretty?!

And this is a picture of what she will look like all set up…complete with quilt…pretty nifty hey!

This morning hubby and I are off to Sechelt to pick her up!  It feels just like Christmas morning!!  She may not be as cute as Kaaren’s new puppy but I think she is pretty darn special!  THANK YOU SO MUCH, SANTA SIENA!! I hope to do her proud!!

Have a magical Monday and Happy Quilting!~P:o)

PS…Note the time of posting…yup, I’m up as we are catching the first ferry out of Nanaimo!  (We have to catch two ferries to get to Sechelt hence the early morning!)  It really is, just like Christmas morning…haha

  6. Congratulations on the new addition to your family! What a wonderful friend Siena is; but then I tend to find the quilting world is full of generous people. Hope you will be giving demonstrations in the future. Hopefully we'll meet up again at the next estate sale. Enjoy our lovely autumn days.

  8. This beauty is certainly worth getting up at 5 in the morning for. What fun you're going to have playing with her. Does this mean you might be encouraged to quilt "someone's" UFOs that have been hanging around for ever?lol Enjoy the ferry rides, it looks like a lovely day.

  14. Sorry about my deleted comment. It simply had too many typos to leave for all to see.

So glad you explained the Sunshine Coast is in BC.

Down Under the only Sunshine Coast we know is north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. http://www.sunshinecoast-australia.com/

    Ha!

I really was a bit concerned that you and Rick might get lost.

That loom looks like too much fun. I'm sure I'll hear you shouting Yippee all the way over here once it's set up and in use. What a wonderful gift.

    Blessings

It is a known fact that, investing in gold would never let down the investor, as the gold rates increase and rarely decrease allowing the investors to accordingly sell it at a real good price, which would provide them a good sum of money helping them out during the time of need. Over the same period, China's gold production of 147 tons, the United States and South Africa respectively, of 105 tons and 103 tons.
