Heritage Happenings...

Yikes...I got a wee bit behind with the Heritage Happenings posts!  Let's start off with Glynis' BOM from last year...She is stitching down the binding so I consider that another finish for Glynis!
This was the Buttermilk Basin Mystery BOM for 2015.  The pattern can be found for sale over at BMB On-line Shop...OMGosh, it is magnificent!  Each block would make a wonderful pincushion!  :o)

And some close-ups....

 Very sweet!
Just a reminder that Buttermilk Basin will be starting a new Summer BOM in three more days!
Sandy finished stitching down her wool rabbits on this masterpiece!  This is a pattern from Primitive Quilts Magazine...so dang CUTE!!

 Ahhhhdorable!
A bag made out of leftover strips....

This is Hazel's latest creation...whipped-up while babysitting the grand-kids!  (Most Grandmas would be napping during the quiet time but not Hazel!!)

I believe these next two quilts were part of Heritage's Mystery quilt...
Don't they look totally different!

Love the borders!
 More gorgeous bags!

This quilt was bought at a local thrift shop...yikes to the wee critters in the middle of each block!  They could traumatize a kid...heck, they would traumatize ME!

 And the other side....
Darlene was wondering if anyone knew where this quilt could be from...We are thinking vintage...maybe from Guatemala?  Any thoughts?
Vickie bought this kit at the Hamel's booth during the Victoria Quilt Show...

...and she has it well under way!  No flies on her...or her quilt!  Another VERY cute pattern!

Christmas in July!  Lovely place-mats all ready and waiting for the BIG day!
Hazel's latest creation...Yikes...just look at all of those wee pieces!  Magnificent!

There is a hand on this one so that you can see how small each wee piece really is!  Yowzers!

Sweet and simple!!  Wouldn't this make an adorable baby quilt!

That looks like Greer behind this sweet quilt....
 LOVE this scrap happy quilt!
Nothing makes my heart beat faster than a wonderful scrappy quilt!  It was going a mile a minute with this one!
I bet these are Betty's charity quilts!  I tell you, when she misses Heritage our Show and Tell goes WAY down! She is by far our most prolific quilter!

Well that's it for Heritage this week!  If I repeated (or missed) any quilts than please forgive me!  My iPhone has now officially been cleaned up!  A woman's work is never done!!  :o))

Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. The Buttermilk Basin piece done on the dark backgrounds.....gives it a different look and I do like darker colors. A winner!
