THIS is Why We Quilt....

Now THIS is why we quilt...

Isn't she adorable....Little Autumn born Dec. 28th, 2015!  Such a sweetie...gorgeous in every way! Look at her work that quilt!!  The quilt is a Fons and Porter FREE pattern found HERE!  I have a feeling this little one is going to grow up loving dogs!

Remember these two quilts...they were made for my daughter's gal pal who was expecting twins! Don't they look pretty hanging over the crib waiting for the arrival of their recipients. The twins' were due around now..the middle of February...but you know how twins are!  Always a race to see who will be the first out...
And you guessed it!  The Twins arrived over a month early, weighing in at (and slightly under) 3lbs each...but the good news is, Audrey and Ethan chunked up fairly quickly and are finally home enjoying their new 'his and her' quilts!  Mom and hubby look like they were hit by a truck...and may need a quilt of their own...to hide under!  (just kidding...I think...:o)

Oh...how I love a happy ending!

Have a magical Monday and Happy Stitching!~P

  1. She looks so cute on her doggy quilt, that is a cute one for babies. I love how she decorated the room and how the quilts look with it, glad that you were able to have them ready in time and that the twins were born healthy.

  2. OH Yes, Twins or even just one baby make new parents feel like they were hit by a truck. Good analogy! Glad they arrived safely.

  5. Oh I bet you can't get enough of Little Autumn's cute little cheeks! The doggy quilt is so cute too. Good to hear the twins are chunking up. Can't even imagine how tiny 3 pound babies feel to hold.
