JUST Junk? Nah…

It felt great to get back into the sewing room yesterday…and although I got a lot accomplished, I have nothing blog worthy to share!

BUT don’t despair…I can show you what I snagged at a Thrift Shop on Monday…check it out!!

I know it may LOOK like a bunch of junk but picture it painted with Annie Sloan’s chalk paint and wax…and becoming unique props for my daughter’s wedding…can you see it?  No…?  Trust me, these are TREASURES!!

Stay tuned…I am off to put on my paint coveralls and trade my sewing machine in for a paint brush…It’s a dirty job but someone’s got to do it!!  :o))

    I was thinking the big frame would be nice to over paint and put a quilt in.

    NICE finds! Somebody's Trash is your Treasure, right? Chalk paint? I heard of Milk Paint the other day. Interesting types of Paint for Primitive re-dos.

    Oh, you love to go to thrift stores too. They are good finds. Just goes with the saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure." Please show when you are finished transforming.

    I would like to find one of those tool boxes for storing sewing supplies. I am not real artistic for painting and decorating but can give it a try.
