…with temperatures going into the high 80Fs (30C) this week, I am planning on stitching on my ‘Snowy Days’…while sitting in my ‘shade room’(the area right beside the oleander hedge)…ahhh…I think it’s helping to cool me down!
I have finished almost two more blocks…
I am using nothing but wool threads on this project and I REALLY like it!! It just melts into the wool…and it made my scarf look like a real life scarf!! Go ahead…check out that fringe!
I was dreading doing the lettering but it went surprisingly fast…which is a good thing because there is more to come!
I still need to sew down the tree boughs…..
Nothing like stitching on wool on any kind of day…but it’s even better on a sizzler!
Have a marvellous Monday and Happy Quilting!~P
It's so adorable, Paulette! Looks like it should cool ya' down!!

Wish we had some heat here, I would love to be sitting outside on my deck sewing a sweet snowman like yours. This is a very cute pattern and I love his fringed scarf.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if we'll find any snowman in Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteThought I'd let you know we are heading out to Hawaii in a couple of days. We arrive in Honolulu Thursday morning to be exact. I've set up a separate Blog called Hawaii 2013 which you can find here http://matarangigirl.blogspot.co.nz/ should you want to follow this New Zealand couple abroad. Most of our time in Hawaii will be on Big Island including a few days on a coffee plantation.
Blessings
