With many of the Snowbirds starting their long migration North we were way down in numbers..with only ten members left…yikes! But we still managed to have fun…and we planned ONE more trip to JoAnn’s for this weekend (big sale happening!)…and we also managed to devour a yummy carrot cake in honour of Sandy’s Birthday!
Let’s get the show on the road…
Kim finished her coffee cups…which she is planning on hanging in her studio back home…
Sweet, isn’t it and beautifully machine quilted!
Here’s a close-up so that you can see her stitching up close and personal!
Heritage Judy finished off her cuddly fleece quilt!
Love the braided edge!! (tutorial to follow on another day…)
Doris knit this STUNNING baby blanket for Kim’s new grand daughter!! So soft and beautifully done!
Very delicate and feminine!
And look at the wee hat…too cute!!
Kim made this Disappearing Nine Patch baby quilt…just in case her new grandbaby was a boy! Not to be…IT’SGIRL!!
Sandy is sewing her rows together…isn’t this the sweetest quilt…and each block finishes off around 3”! Adorable!!
Gwen is busy sewing her Patriot Quilt which she is planning on donating to her local hospital.
Gwen ordered the kit on line and the colours and fabric are wonderful!
Heritage Judy was working on her African Village placemats, a gift to her son and DIL. Love the wee village in the middle of each!
Seattle Judy was busy doing hand work! ‘Dress Me Up Frosty’ is on my ‘TO DO LIST’…very cute!
Wish my camera did the colours in this mat justice… Lovely vibrant hand dyed wools!
And perfect stitches!
Karen was busy adding blocks to this beauty!
I love the fabrics in this quilt…perfect for her bed back home!
And Doris was turning some of her left over log cabins into gorgeous hot pads!
What a fun and talented group of quilters!!
Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting…now where did I put my yoga pants?? Off to yoga! ~P
Oh I just LOVE Karen's quilt! What's that fabric line? Dress me up snowman is dang cute too!

Lots of great projects and I wish I hadn't see that, lol. I was thinking about using something like the eagle print to do a bedspread to make it simple and fast and remembered our store had that print on sale and this week a 30% off sale, I do not need to shop, lol.
ReplyDeleteThat baby blanket is gorgeous, I used to do crochet and appreciate the beauty in her design and work.
