About this time of year I usually pick a project that I think some of my family members might like for Christmas and I mass produce them. Which means instead of one runner I make four (and if all goes well, I usually try to make one for me…!) Two years ago I made everyone this little table topper….
You start by making a large log cabin…
Add a few snowmen and a Let it Snow sign….oh and don’t forget the little snow buttons!
I must confess I do have a weakness for snowmen!
I always get such pleasure taking this little topper out of the Christmas Box. I hope everyone else feels the same way.
Tomorrow I will show you what ‘Santa’ mass produced last year….I’ll give you a hint…they are a weakness of mine…
Have a sunny Sunday and Happy Quilting!
This is soooo cute! I just might have to try something like this! :0)
ReplyDeleteReally sweet. I like your fabric selections, and the snowmen make it so happy!
ReplyDeleteAll sweet things coming out of your sweat shop. I like the stitchery that is added to this little quilt. Cute as can be!
ReplyDeleteLove those snowmen too. I have the whimsicals books and should do some too. Do you machine applique?
ReplyDeleteI really should figure out how to use my machine, could make more things if I did.

All I want for Christmas is to be adopted by Paulette.
ReplyDeleteI'm with DianeH! Such a cute little topper, lucky family members. I'm the only one in my family who creates, so I don't get this kind of thing, unless I make it for myself, which is fun, but not the same. Can't wait to see what Santa made last year - let me guess - something with more snowmen? (I have a weakness for them, too!)
ReplyDeleteLove it.. and snowmen..that is the best with winter anyway.. they makes me smile all the time!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI love mine too, Mom! It's sooo cute and festive without being too festive, if you know what I mean! In fact, I like it so much I keep it out as long as there is snow on the ground, which is a long time in Alberta!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteVery cute little snowmen! Your projects are darling! Love the stars and peppermint sticks!
ReplyDeleteYour table topper is sweet and what a lovely gift to give.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and a great idea to make a few while on the go!
ReplyDeleteWe don't ever get snow here, but I love the look of snow all the same..

These are adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your snowman table topper & runner. They are so cute!! Was the table topper your own idea or a pattern? I don't think I've ever seen it before.
