SEW Creative…

My blogging friend, Synthia is doing a HAPPY DANCE and you can see why…!!

Synthia took a class from Sue Spargo…and now look what is hanging up on her wall!!  STUNNING, isn’t it!

The background fabric and the batting are all wool as are the applique pieces. The backing and the binding are a Hoffman cotton print and the red stripe scalloped piece appliqued on the border and the 'hill' the bird is sitting on are all cotton as well.   I love the way Synthia has blended cotton with wool!  A very nice effect!

Sue Spargo gave each student a label stamped with her design and signed by her on the side!  All Synthia had to do was add her name and date and whatever else she wanted to say.  VERYCOOL!

Wouldn’t you LOVE to take a class from the Master of Wool applique!?  I sure would!  Thanks for sharing, Synthia!

Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P
