Good morning!
Yesterday I had to venture into town to get my sewing machine fixed and as I was driving, my car suddenly swerved into a street that was having a Garage Sale! (My car is doing this ALL the time, but what's a girl to do...!) Anyways, as I was poking around I came across this thing-it is a pot holder for outside. Most people would look at this turtle 'thing' and think hideous but not me! I HAD A VISION! I bought the thing for $2 -clutched it to my chest and ran for the car screaming "START THE CAR, START THE CAR!!!! (like in the Ikea commercial)
This is what I was all in a sweat over.......my hubby just shook his head when I tried to sneak the thing into our house.....I tried to tell him about MY VISION but his eyes just rolled into the back of their sockets.....
So this morning the dogs and I ventured into the woods for some moss. I found some chicken wire in the shed, mixed in some dirt and some succulents (mostly Hens and Chicks) and presto:
MY VISION!
How cute is this!!! It's a 'good thing"! My hubby will never doubt me again......until, of course, the next VISION strikes......
Take care and I hope you have a VISION that makes your day even better!

have unexpected company or be asked to take something somewhere for a

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is sooo cute! I absolutely love how it turned out.
ReplyDeleteI do have a topiary form for a alligator and I have tried to pack it with moss to grow hens and chicks, but the squirrels kept biting the hens and chicks and they were chewing them up faster that I could keep them planted.
That is so cute! Great idea! I mean "vision"! :0)
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever!!!
ReplyDeleteSo good! I love the vision you had and so happy you went with it. It looks wonderful
ReplyDeleteCan't say that I have ever had a vision for a turtle. I am never that clever. I think he's cute. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant vision. I wish I could have ideas like that.
ReplyDeleteI meant to say I love your new blog heading by the way.
Perfect, I had a very similar vision as soon as I saw it. Great minds......
ReplyDeleteI love it, what a great vision! My car has a similar problem with skips, it just kinda stops, and then the children start roaring at me. I find if people object to one's creative urges the best thing is to put ones fingers in ones ears and sing 'la la la' loudly, and sing even louder when you take your fingres out in order to rummage. Well, it works for me!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great eye! Wow! I love it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
