All 15 projects will be at JoAnn’s booth at Houston’s Market so if you are LUCKY enough to go I want to see pictures!!

If you hurry over to JoAnn’s blog and click on the pictures to enlarge them, then stick your head up really close to your computer screen (until your nose touches the screen) you can get a good look!!  I can’t wait to get my hands on my own (autographed) copy to drool over!.. (not to worry- I will be wearing my wool crazy bib!)

Congratulations JoAnn!!  Your mama looks so proud…as we all are!!

Have a super Sunday and Happy Quilting!~P

I’m still ‘Robbing Peter to Pay Paul’!

This is what’s left after trimmings my Rob Peter to Pay Paul blocks…or rather this is what I trimmed off my blocks…and I am nervous about it!!  The pattern said to square up the blocks to 7 1/2” but I had to trim them to 7 1/4” as the blocks were a little wonky!! :o(  They were so easy to cut and sew…things were going so well…maybe TOO well…?

This is what the trimmed blocks look like laid out on my floor…sure hope everything matches up OK.  I wasn’t sure how to trim these blocks…what do I line the ruler up to when trimming??!…I kind of just eye-balled it…and am hoping for the best!

P1100389  Aside from that- I LOVE these blocks…and the fabric is wonderful!!  (Garden Party by Blackbird Designs-LOVE IT!!).  My fingers will be crossed sewing these blocks together…but I can’t do that till later today, so wish me luck…!

Have a super Saturday and Happy Quilting!~P

There’s A LOT of crazies out there…..

…wool crazies that is!!  Look at the pictures that Marie (no blog) sent me to share with the rest of the blogging world – pictures of her pin cushion Round Robin…

Marie’s has a definite Fall Theme happening…too cute!!

And her Round Robin partner, Synthia stitched a Sewing Theme.  LOVE it!!  Marie said that they plan to add more embellishments to each of their WC pin cushions…This just goes to show you- you don’t need a pile of people to have a successful Round Robin!

You just need yourself and a buddy…a WOOL crazy buddy!!
