Teri Sheds Light…

After complaining about being left in the dark from our power outage …I got the nicest email from Teri who shed some light on a product that she loves!  I thought it was worth passing onto YOU!!

Teri said that this is the BEST lantern EVER and it’s PRETTY too!  See how it’s divided into four sides…well all four panels light up and it is super bright! The best part is each panel is removable.  So if you need to go to your sewing room for more thread, you just take one panel with you.  You can also put one in your lap and read or stitch.  When it starts to go dim, which takes a LONG time…you snap it back in and it recharges.  Take another one off and the others stay on illuminating the room!  BRILLIANT!

Teri got hers at Costco but she has seen them in other stores.  Teri didn’t mention how much they are BUT they do look good!  I am definitely keeping my eye open for one of these babies…and if the price is right, everyone on my Nice List may find one in their stocking this year!  This would make a great practical and much needed gift!

Thanks Teri, that was so nice of you to go to all that trouble of taking a picture and sending it along!  It all takes time away from your busy day and WE APPRECIATED IT!!

Our daughter is here for the weekend!  Yesterday we had the best girls’ day out in downtown Victoria and of course, lunch at Murchies!  A sunny day also helped make the day special!

Till tomorrow…

Have a SUNNY Sunday and happy Stitching!~P

PS…I did some on-line GOOGLING and found it…

It’s called a Coleman Led Quad Lantern and can be found HERE!  Don’t you LOVE the internet!!

  3. It does look like a good light source that could be handy for a variety of needs. BTW - We have a small portable Honda Generator that has helped us with lights and various electronic equipment in our home, when we've had power outages. Although I've never used it with my sewing machine.

  4. Thanks P for posting this. It's definitely the answer to those pesky power outages that we seem to get at this time of the year. Have a happy day with your daughter. Hope the sun stays around today.

  6. I took a disaster preparedness workshop. They took a gallon milk jug and filled it with water. Then had an elastic strap with a flat LED light on it and wrapped it around the mild jug with the light facing towards the jug. You can't believe how much light it produced.
