We stayed at one of our favourite RV Parks last night…The Orange Grove in Bakersfield, California! And yes, it REALLY is located inside an orange grove!
What a bumper crop they have this year, huge grapefruit size oranges, sweet as candy and they are so juicy you have to eat them over a sink! This place spoils you for eating ‘store bought’ oranges! Nothing like it!
I had a few readers asking about the Winter Issue of Quiltmania…
Here’s a sampling of the projects inside…some REALLY dang cute ones if you ask me!
This wee framed stocking is by Joan from Bits and Pieces…very sweet!
In fact Joan has been VERY busy as she also designed the JOY runner!
Ahhhhdorable!
I already own this Heart to Hand Pattern…LOVE this one and done up it is spectacular!!
Laurie Simpson’s quilt done in Winter Reds is stunning…
So you be the judge…is Quiltmania worth buying this month? That’s what I thought…hence the copy of it on my blog!!
We are off to Desert Hot Springs today…our final destination! Can’t wait to get there…catch some rays and see the Clubhouse Girls! A good combo if ever there was one!
Have a Sunny Sunday and thanks for stopping by! Think I’ll be squeezing an orange or two for breakfast this morning!!P~
We enjoyed that RV Park when we stopped there for the night on our way back from Desert Hot Springs the year we were able to get down there. Those oranges are a lot bigger than the ones we got that year! I'm jealous!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great issue, will have to check it out the next time I go to the store.
