It’s Claire’s turn….

I am still stuffed from yesterday’s turkey dinner and I’m feeling rather lazy so I thought I’d let my friend,Claire have a turn at doing some ‘sew and tell’!  First let me tell you, Claire is an amazing quilter and does lovely stitchery projects.  The runner that Claire is going to share today came from the book “Creepy Crafty Halloween” by Dawn Anderson.

I can hear all the oooohs and aahhhhs going through blog land right now! Didn’t Claire do a lovely job….just gorgeous!

Click on the pictures so that you can see her stitching-perfection!

Claire made this runner out of cottons but you could quite easily use wools for all the appliqué work.

image Nothing says Fall like pumpkins stitched in a runner…love the colours on the black background…makes the pumpkins pop!  Great job, Claire!  It’s a good thing.

It’s Give-Away time!  Now for the Mini Thanksgiving Give Away from yesterday.  The winner of the ‘Give P1030333

Thanks’ wall hanging is…..Linda from Country Pickins!  (Please email me your address so that I can pop this in the mail.)  Thanks again for helping me celebrate Thanksgiving!

Have a marvelous Monday and Happy Quilting!

First, I want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!! and secondly, you need to tell Claire to start a blog. Her work is just beautiful. I, too, love the black back ground, especially with all the rich colors.
