Yesterday was the first Tuesday of the month which meant CLUB DAY at the Cloth Castle. We were missing our friend Alice, who was suffering from a bad cold and our lunch buddy, Claire….so our Club day just wasn’t the same without them…Which made me realize that although we attend Quilting Club because we love quilting, getting new ideas, seeing all the new gadgets, fabrics and patterns - what we really love is getting together with our friends who just happen to love quilting as much as we do! So get better Alice and take some time for yourself Claire…but we want you back next month…no ifs, ands or buts! It’s just not the same without you! Here’s what you missed~
These mug mats were so cute I wouldn’t want to slop coffee on them! I loved the way she quilted mugs on the sides. Adorable!
An incredibly soft baby quilt.
This runner was made out of Figgie Pudding Christmas Fabric and I think the quilter said the pattern was taken from the Moda Bake Shop.
Isn’t this Christmas wall hanging/ table mat cute! I loved this fall bag made from a charm pack. Isn’t it nice?
This was a mystery quilt where the quilter did a block a month. It turned out great.
This quilt top was made from Shangri-la by Moda….love it!
This bag was big and roomy and was gorgeous- made from upholstery scraps….AND…this is the other side- very cute!! We all thought this would be the perfect bag to take as a flight carry on bag.
Do you remember the turquoise and brown kit that I ordered from Connecting Threads- well here it is! I LOVE IT!! My friend, Dawn made it up and it turned out great! I can’t wait to make mine!
The next two quilts are both kits from Connecting Threads-both Dawns! Love them both….
This bear quilt has adorable fabric on the border- a camping theme with little tents and canoes. Too cute!
This little Halloween wall hanging/table topper was so cute – it had spider webs quilted with silver thread…very sweet!
Lots of eye candy without trick or treating….
Have a wacky Wednesday and Happy Quilting!
