I love the look of old, well loved quilts….they are wrinkled and crinkled and have that soft well worn look… Even the stains add character…. Here’s to wrinkles and crinkles, stains and worn spots…and soft, well loved quilts!
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting….
I love that look too! I'm always washing my quilts when I get them done to get the old look!
ReplyDeleteAmen!! I love that look too. Why have quilts if they aren't going to get used. I love going to antique stores and seeing old quilts that are so worn...does my heart good. Seldom does a quilt get stored anywhere in our home...they are used all winter long.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Are these yours? Do you collect vintage quilts? I'd like to. I have a couple of vintage tops.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilts! I have wrinkles and crinkles but they don't work as well for me as they do the quilts! LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts! Like Terry said, the wrinkles look better on quilts than on faces, in most cases anyway. Maybe they need to be "fully developed" to look lovely like on a grandmother's cheek.
ReplyDeleteWhat a yummy collection of soft, warm and crinkly quilts!!
ReplyDeleteMe too...I love the look of a much loved and used quilt...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous collection ..

Such pretty quilts, mm-m, that sweet blend of prints in the Dresden. I like them all! Pokey
ReplyDeleteWhat cosy looking quilts. They do get better with age don't they. I love the plates and the Irish chain, if ever they get too spotty or crinkly I'll give them a home. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHey, you're talking about me! Wrinkles, crinkles and worn spots!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilts though.
Love the quilts, wrinkles are part of getting old & i should know we don't get rid of our old folk so why do it to other things personally i love antiques much more than modern so these appeal to me
