Festival Fun….

I spent most of last night looking at the quilts in the Blogger’s Quilt festival. Whew! What an array of of amazing quilters!  And the quilts- absolutely gorgeous!

If you haven’t checked out the featured quilts and the quilter’s blogs then hop on over to Amy’s.  Amy is the host of the Blogger’s Quilt Festival 2009 and she has set it up so that all you do is click on the quilter’s name and poof, you go to their blog- the magic of the Internet!   Make sure you have LOTS of time because there must be close to 350 quilts!  Last night I looked at 250 quilts and it took me a few hours!  But what a great few hours they were….the only thing missing at this quilt show are the vendors! ;o)

Tonight I hope to finish going through the list of quilts and maybe spend some time actually looking at the ‘new’ blogs….I can see my list of “blogs to follow”  growing longer and longer!

Today I am off to the Old Farm Market as I need some fresh vegetables for our Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow!  The turkey is in the fridge waiting…. and the pumpkin pies are smelling wonderful!  If you live in Canada then have a Happy Thanksgiving and if you don’t live in Canada, then have a wonderful weekend filled with yummy things!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!  (Wouldn’t Kim just LOVE this market! She could make a serious dent in these pumpkins!)

  1. That's a very nice trough garden in your photo with the wool runner. I've always wanted to plant one. Happy Thanksgiving. We'll have ours in November.
