Cloudy With a Chance of Quilting….

Monsoon like rains kept me from my usual Saturday adventures….alas….  As the rain splashed against the windows and hammered on the roof, I put on a CD book and sewed the day away….a VERY nice way to spend a rainy day!  I finished off the Christmas stars and got the quilt pieced.  I still have to put on two more borders and I want to do some appliqué….as I glance out the window this morning…I see that it’s cloudy….with a definite chance of more quilting!  Whoopee!  See every cloud has a silver lining…

I have been reading all about the Quilt Festival in Houston on other blogs- it looked amazing!!  Pat Sloan’s blog has some awesome pictures of the booths plus links to other sites.  I love the way Pat puts quotes at the end of each blog entry…something to ponder before hopping to another site!

Speaking  of other sites……Give-Away Spotted!!  Pop over to Spark Bark as they are having an awesome give-away- Amy Butler’s book called, Peek A Boo!  I LOVE this book!  I almost bought it at the Road to California this past winter but I thought that I had better wait for a grand-baby to happen…I didn’t want to jinx anything….anyways I’m still waiting for a baby and still no book….hmmm… I could win the book but what about the baby….?  Check out the book as it has the cutest quilts in it!

To really appreciate these quilts you have to see them done up!  They are adorable!

Have a super Sunday and Happy Quilting!
