Delores’ daughter was clicking her heels and yelling “SCORE!” when she picked up a whole set of of the cutest Baby Bedding at a Garage Sale…and for next to nothing too!! Sheets, quilt, bumper pads and matching wall art…Eureka!! And dang cute too!!
Grandma knows best…NO bumper pads!! In Canada they deem them too dangerous!
Health Canada does not recommend the use of bumper pads in cribs because they pose an entanglement, entrapment, strangulation, and suffocation hazard to infants.
So lickity split, Delores ripped up those bumper pads and turned them into curtains….
And pillows…
How cute is THAT!
Yup, little Mason has one very ‘mart’ Grandma!!
And a VERY adorable room!! Thanks for sharing, Delores! Now go and cuddle that sweet baby boy!!
Have a Super Saturday and Happy Quilting!~P

ReplyDeleteNow that's a clever idea..one even I might be able to accomplish!!
ReplyDeletevery clever idea..funny how things change!..bumper pads were fine when our daughter was a baby 26 years ago...but then again leaded paint was okay way back when too!
ReplyDeleteHow stinking cute is that! And what great use of her imagination! I'm so jealous of people like that!

Very cute fabric and decor for a baby.

cute! One of the funniest photos I have now from when my oldest was first born is his crib with bumper pads, 20 stuffed toys of all sizes and a hanging mobile...and I am not sure of the slate widths...wonder how in the world he survived!
