A Stumbler with the Tumbler…

I’m in LOVE…with my current project…the Tumbler Quilt using Civil War fabric and shirting!  So scrappy yet not…

P1140910You might remember that I borrowed my friend, Kathie’s GO! tumbler die to cut out these blocks.  Only problem…I didn’t cut out enough tumblers…SEW you know what THAT MEANS!!    P1140907 I need my own Tumbler Die!

Right now this little quilt is only about 44”X46” big…and I want a big cozy quilt that I can wrap myself in.  This is going to be a couch quilt..P1140906

Yup, I definitely need my own tumbler because there seems to be a love affair brewing….

Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P

  4. I really love the tumblers with that fabric, think they look best with prim fabrics. I was thinking that homespuns would be nice to use.

  6. The tumbler is something I have wanted to make. I love the "old fashioned" look it gives in scrappy colors. You will enjoy it for a very long time!

  19. I love this quilt. I bought the big tumbler die and haven't used it yet but I guess I'm going to have to pull it out and start. Your quilt is lovely and I'm just so wanting it...I guess I better get busy and make one and quit coveting yours! I have some left over CW fabric and now that I see how beautiful yours is, I'm just going to pull it out and start cranking. Thanks for the inspiration!
