Sew Cal Gal is at it again! She is having another Quilt Show…this time it’s the Pets on Quilts Show.
The idea is that you can enter a photo of your pet actually sitting on one of your quilts or you can enter a pet themed quilt…or to quote Sew Cal Gal …“photos of Pets on Quilts, Quilts with a pet theme, EQ6/EQ7 designs, Quilt Art, Machine Embroidered quilts....all with a pet theme”.
Mine is neither…so I may get tossed out of this parade…but it’s worth a try!!
Here is a picture of my little Wool Crazy Quilt…Can you see my little sweethearts? Check out the right corner..I tried to put things that I loved on this little 24 X 24 inch wool quilt…and of course that includes my little Furballs!! Do you see Molly and Rylie…front and centre playing together with their ball?
Let me zoom in for a close up! Are they both not the cutest Cockapoos in the whole world…? Well maybe excluding Peg’s which is adorable…oh and of course Jackie’s 101 cockapoos…(check them out HERE..CUTE!! BEWARNED…she’s selling them!!)
Looks like I caught them doing something that they shouldn’t be doing…which is often the case!
I tried to get a picture of Molly and Rylie playing with a red ball…but have you ever tried to pose dogs…NOT going to happen!… SEW this is the best I could do…I think I captured them nicely on my little quilt…don’t you?
Hurry over to Sew Cal Gal’s blog and see some other awfully cute pets…
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P
I am so glad to see Molly and Rylie in this show. You're right, they do look as though you might have caught them red-pawed there!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable but look quite guilty, too. LOL
ReplyDeleteWow I love your quilt! And those two look like butter wouldn't melt!
ReplyDeleteSure you can pose doggies. It just takes a truckload of milk bones. Haven't tried it with inanimate objects yet. Wonder how they get them to pose for calendars?
ReplyDeleteWell, yours are the most adorable Cockapoos ever regardless if they have a red ball or not!
Lovelie wool project - there they are - great 'photo' on the wool.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet quilt, Paulette. The stitching is awesome, as are your cute little cockapoos. Although, they do look like they've been hatching some kind of trickery. This will be a great entry in the contest. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteYour wool quilt is beautiful, and your dogs and favorite things have so made your quilt for meaningful!
ReplyDeleteThis is an incredible quilt! I love every thing I see! Cute pups, we can't help but love them.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt most definitely qualifies. It's gorgeous. Your Rylie reminds me of my Gracie. She is half poodle and half bichon.
ReplyDeleteYou captured them perfectly. They are so cute and I love, love, love the quilt!
ReplyDeleteMolly and Rylie must know the drill by now..either pose for a picture or we will put a not so flattering one on the blog!!..nice quilt Paulette!!!..you captured them very well!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt. I love that you incorporated Molly and Rylie.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely art quilt, your dogs seem to be center stage on it.. BUT where is the photo of the whole quilt, I want to see MORE Of it... so much detail and work in it..it is amazing
ReplyDeleteFunny, that's exactly what I thought of when I saw them on the quilt, they're giving you the "who me?" look. Great quilt, all of the applique most of taking you a lot of time but it certainly looks worth it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat wool quilt! Animals never pose when you want them to! Cute shot of Molly and Rylie though.
ReplyDeleteLove that piece and having your pets depicted makes it even more special. I have to see what I have, too dense this week to do or think much, lol.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I don't see why yours wouldn't qualify.. I see your dogs and crazy quilts are quilts too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome quilt! And, yes, I have tried to post dogs - they are not very cooperative are they - LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think you captured them perfectly - and it seems they look a little guilty, lol! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt & the pooches on it. Awesome design/creation.
