What Are Friends For?

Gay from Sentimental Stitches has just released block 16 of the Beyond the Cherry Trees Album Quilts.  It think this is my favourite so far…see the original.

I know it’s frayed…but Gay has lovingly reproduced it…a wreath with clumps of grapes on each corner of the wreath.  So sweet!  Hurry over and download it before it goes into her shop!  This is so generous of Gay to offer them to her readers for FREE first!!  Thanks Gay, we really appreciate it!!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER…or is Claire EARLY?  Look at what my friend Claire just finished stitching!!

The pattern is called "I Caught Santa" from Primitive Pieces by Lynda.

Lynda gave it free to her pattern club members a couple of years ago for Christmas. Now it is part of the Christmas Bundle pattern.

Early or Late..does it matter?  All I can say is that it is DANG CUTE!!  And the hand dyed wool is gorgeous!!  LOVE IT!!  Now that Claire has finished this project maybe she will pass the pattern my way!! (hint, hint….)  I mean really, what are friends for?

Have a marvellous Monday and Happy Quilting!~P

  4. I think that I should follow Claire's example and be ready for Christmas early this year. Although Easter Bunnies are starting to hop around Valentine hearts in my head and they are distracting!

  8. You always make me want to start these cute things!
I do want to see your feet in the 4" heels...without holding on to anything too! OMG...I've lost those brain cells of when I actually wore 3" heels! Thank goodness!
