Since joining the Heritage Quilting Guild, every Monday has become a feast for the Quilters’ eye!! It’s like going to a Quilt Show EVERY week!! Such inspiration!
Let me show you what a few of the ladies were working on yesterday… Spinning Star!! Look at all these little swirls…ouch! All hand stitched…it’s enough to make your head spin!! The pattern is taken from this magazine and Lois is doing a fantastic job!
Diane is in the process of finishing off this Slice and Dice Nine Patch…my photo does not do this quilt justice…gorgeous fabrics and vibrant colours!!
Some sweet little appliqué…and coffee…
More gorgeous appliqué and coffee…all this coffee makes me VERY nervous!!
Candy Swirls~
Another hand stitched project…can’t wait to see this one finished!! What a ton of work…but it’s going to be stunning!!
An appliquéd table runner…so pretty!
A sweet little stitchery…YIKES…more coffee!
Now for the finished quilts~
Quite a parade, isn’t it…But wait…there’s still more!!
This appliquéd tiger is reversible!! Whew!! Told you it was inspirational and a little overwhelming!!
Hmmmm….Wonder what next Monday will bring? Can’t wait!
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P

Amazing quilts once again. I wouldn't even dream of making those swirly patterns, but I really loved the one with dark and light squares/triangles (5th of the finished quilts).

Wow, every week? How inspiring to keep up with the sewing. Some beautiful work pictured.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quilt show! I'm actually making that very first hand-pieced whirly quilt, but I got the pattern and templates from Australian Patchwork & Quilting like, 6 years ago! I have miles to go and of course, have totally lost interest in the repro prints I was using. Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteWow all those wonderful quilts, and you do this EVERY Monday???? Wow, wish I had some time to do just a wee little bit of what you ladies are doing. Keep up the great work, we all love to see the finished projects, and the ones in process too!!
