Remember this beauty? Well…
…Block 12 to Beyond the Cherry Tree BOM is now available FREE over at Sentimental Stitches…Wow…this one is going to take a long time to do…look at all those finger flowers!! YIKES!!
On the quilting front~
I finished the Bow Tie Quilt…so fast and easy…and all because I use this~
The more I use the Lady GO! GO! the more I can’t live without her!! This is the 4” quarter square triangles…she had the bow ties cut out before I could pour myself a second cup of coffee..and then she used the 1 1/2” strip cutter for the border and the 2 1/2” strip cutter for the binding! I had my feet up the whole time!! Got to love it!!
Anyways I’m thrilled with this little bow tie table topper…hate to give her up…but she will be auctioned off for a good cause! And besides Lady GO! GO! can whip up another one in her spare time!!
This is Lady GO! GO!’s my first OPAM finish for September!
FYI~ Yesterday this is how I looked…
Seriously…this is how I really did look!! Yup, I have a cold!! Not a pretty sight! But thanks to this…
I am not coughing like I was and I am feeling SO much better! It REALLY does work and like the commercial says…tastes TERRIBLE (man THAT’S an understatement!!) but it WORKS!! It warms up your throat and goes right down to your chest and settles the tickle!
So thanks to Buckley’s I am now back in Quilting form…back to my old playful self…
I couldn’t resist…:o) …in my dreams…!
Have a marvelous Marilyn Monday and Happy Quilting!~P
glad you are feeling better...If I take the same medicine will I look like that? Must get out my white sundress.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, your bow tie quilt is cute. I can see that you really like your cutter

ReplyDeleteSo funny! I've been coughing a lot at night (ragweed) so if they had this stuff in the States, I bet my hubby would be holding my nose and pouring it down my throat! Glad you feel better!! By the way, cute quilt!!
ReplyDeleteI thought I recognized you! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling better.
Love the little quilt.
Don't you just hate summer colds. I was at Sawyers Sewing Centre on Saturday with my hubby buying my Birthday present. Yes you guessed it a Lady Go GO! My husband must cringe everytime we go in there together. Last time it was a cutting table. Anyways I`m under strict orders it is not to be used before my Birthday so I walk by it sneaking glances and quietly promising the Go great things to come! Your new header looks very comfortable relaxing amongst the greenery! Keep downing the Buckleys'!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better! And congrats on your GO!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that you are kicking up your heels, but please try to keep your skirt down, "Marilyn" :)
I love your bow tie quilt. Glad you are feeling better. Ready to sing Happy Birthday to the President now?
