Monkey Business….

See what my friend, Delores has been doing…Is this not the cutest baby quilt?  I LOVE it! In about 2 weeks, Delores will be wrapping grand-baby number 3 in this!!

Delores was saying that she was a little disappointed that this quilt is a little smaller than she thought it would be.  It may end up being a wall hanging for the nursery or a car seat quilt. 

I WANT to make this quilt…sooo sweet! 

So, Delores..what do you think of this idea?…Wouldn’t this quilt be cute made bigger, with three little monkeys in the bed with the “Three Little Monkeys Song” stitched in a border going around the quilt…eg Three little monkey jumping on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head…How adorable would that be!!  That would make the quilt a lot bigger…maybe even big enough for a toddler’s bed…Just a thought…in case you want to monkey around a bit more…

Delores has been one busy quilter!!  Look at what she made her husband for his birthday!  (Happy Birthday, Denny!) He is going to be thrilled!! This gorgeous wall hanging will hang in their trailer…to remind them of their home on Vancouver Island when they travel to far away place…
