Sick NEWS…

What’s right up there with YOU being sick??  Why..when your sewing machine is sick of course!  YUP… You guessed it, my poor little Jan (ome) is under the weather.  Seems her computer is upset and is stuck in Bobbin Wind mode… P1150539-1

…she’ll sew but she won’t change stitch length, no automatic needle down or back and forth…she really is not herself!!

So I bundled her up and it’s off to the doctor for her…

Jan’s never been sick a day in her life…she’s too young for it to be anything too serious…or god forbid…terminal!! I’m hoping a squirt of oil here and there and she will be back to her old self!

I wonder how long her recovery will take??  Yikes…no Jan!!  I miss her already!!  :o(

Hope you have a thoughtful Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P

  1. I do hope you have a back-up. I hate it when mine gets a 'lube, oil and filter' (as I call it.) I have back-ups but they just aren't the same.

  3. This is terrible news! I hope you have a spare machine or a friend who will let you borrow one. I don't know what I'd do without my favorite machine.
I'll cross my fingers, toes, arms and legs for a good outcome.

  5. LOL...that's what scares me about these computerized machines! I have one and my biggest fear is that something 'expensive' will go wrong. =(

    Hope yours is home soon!

  6. Sadly, that is the fun of electronic machines, once the computer gets stuck on something, it has to go in for the tech repair. I need to get a cheap basic stitch machine for those days, hate being without something for fast stitching on ornies and things.

  7. Oh poor baby I hope it is nothing too serious or expensive. I hope you have a backup machine? I keep thinking I need to buy myself just a basic machine for those times.

  9. Oh no say it isn't so - Jan looks so healthy and vibrant; she can't possibly be ill. Hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug and she'll be back to herself very soon.

  10. Oh, golly, I hope she gets better soon! I wonder if you can possibly find a handwork project to keep you busy until she comes home? :D

  11. Ohhh, that is not good! Hope she's feeling better soon!! Mine is due for her yearly check-up and I just hate to part with her. She's usually gone about a week and I don't like the thought of being away from her that long!! haha! Guess I should do it soon though or she may get stuck in bobbin wind too!:) Have a great one!! :)

  12. That is bad news. I hope that her stay in hospital is short. So, hand stitching for a while?
