Blogland is mind boggling….

It’s CRAZY out in blogland right now with all the Quilt Sew and Tell Contests … and you know me~ I always jump on the band wagon…or in this case the sleigh wagon!  Piece N’ Quilt is having a Homespun Holidays Quilt Show and I do love my homespun.  In fact when I think of a Homespun Christmas I think of this little table topper…made out of homespun flannels…I have shown it before…but what the hey, I need something to sew and tell about! This is a favourite of mine~ the pattern is by The Whole Country Caboodle, designed by Leanne Anderson.  I do love snowmen!!

So click on the button and it will take you to Piece N’ Quilt where you can enter a quilt or view the many quilts on display OR you can do both!!  Enjoy!

image FREE PATTERNS SIGHTED!!

Hurry over to the Fat Quarter Shop and Click on the left side button where it says FREE Patterns…you are going to find some awesome quilts!  Here is a sample of my favourite!  I have printed it off and put it into my ‘to do’ pile.  (Ooooh I am getting so organized…this is my new ‘to do’ binder!  The computer ink to run these patterns/ideas off is going to cost me a small fortune but it will be worth it…I will be able to leaf through this and think/plan/buy fabric! for these ‘to do’ projects…)

P1040272-1 P1040271 If you want to find this particular pattern, after you have CLICKED on FREE patterns it will take you to a page…click on Henry Glass and Co. and then scroll down to Magical Christmas.  You can’t see it here, but inside each star is a little embroidered reindeer…how cute is that!  Plus note the big reindeer in the corner…I REALLY love this quilt!  Thanks Fat Quarter Shop and Henry Glass!  Make sure you look at all the free patterns…there are only about a million of them, give or take a few…

Give-away spotted!!

Can’t you see me in the kitchen Christmas Day slopping gravy on this cute little number? image

Well it just might happen!!  The Cutting Table Blog is giving away this sweet little apron in their Christmas give away.  All you have to do is blog about it….and wait…..and wait….until December 23rd….because that’s when you find out whether you’re going to be looking cute in the kitchen or NOT!  Wish me luck!  I need all the help I can get!

Have a thrilling-chilling Thursday and happy Quilting!

  2. Hmmm, the placement of the red square in your "pattern to make one day" is kinda weird. Right under the reindeer.
