On centre stage is a lovely little number… why it’s a Christmas Count Down- you move the mitten to the right number.  Today it would be on the 3rd! (Only 22 days to go!!)

P1040075

This was one of my favourites…and of course it involved snowmen!  This was a super soft flannel quilt that could be used all winter long…just lovely and very cozy! And oh, so cute!  Apparently it had been a kit offered by Cloth Castle two years ago….I must have been snow birding because I don’t remember this adorable quilts!P1040079

A casserole keeper…to use when you go to all those pot luck parties…

P1040077 P1040078

A VERY long Christmas runner…they must have a very long table.

P1040080A Christmas village quilt beautifully quilted.

Another one of my favourites was this old fashion panel quilt.  I loved the grey appliquéd holly…very different and unique.  Everyone wanted to know who designed this panel but it was a mystery….does anyone out there in blogland recognize it?  I love the way the quilter added more appliqué and the picket fence around the quilt..it was just lovely…in fact I loved it so much that I took lots of pictures… (the panel ends with the chocolate print frame, the rest has been added by the quilter AND you really had to look and touch to see where one ended and one started…)P1040084 P1040085 Hello Natasha…yes we are still here…P1040086  P1040088

P1040098

The rows of appliquéd holly tied everything together.  Very clever and just lovely!

 P1040089

This is a gorgeous bell runner… beautifully appliquéd and quilted with multi coloured stars…

P1040092 P1040093 P1040094

An advent calendar with little pockets- very nice!  Children would love this~ especially if there was a candy or present in each pocket. And with all the dollar stores around you could easily do that without breaking the bank.

P1040090

P1040095 P1040096  The special effects made this little tree wall hanging…look at the little sugared gum drops…too cute!

P1040099

We have a lady in our group who loves to do  cross stitch so every month we get to see her wonderful creations.  Makes you want to start cross  stitching, doesn’t it?  I hope the person who is receiving this for Christmas will treasure it for the piece of art work that it is!  Just gorgeous…P1040102

Natasha shared the gift that she is making for her mom…they are little mini quilts that she has transferred pictures of her family on and then hung onto this cute little metal frame.  Natasha said she is treating every fabric picture like a scrapbook page..

P1040106

What mother wouldn’t LOVE this!

P1040107

Natasha  is planning on appliquéing  a word on each picture and adding little special effects.  Her mom is going to be thrilled!

P1040103

Natasha whipped this quilt up for a store display.  She has put little rhinestones on the ornaments and snowflakes and they just popped the quilt. Very festive! I sure hope they appreciate everything Natasha does at the Cloth Castle….I think she deserves a raise or a bonus or at least a couple of free fat quarters, don’t you?

P1040105   Finally this sweet little Deck the Halls quilts…very cute…in fact it was so cute I ended up buying the pattern!  This was another of Natasha’s creations!  Such a talented lady!

Tomorrow I will show you what my quilting buddies, Dawn and Alice made…You’re going to love it….hope to see you then!

BUT before you go….Remember the BOM quilt Beyond the Cherry Tree (beautiful antique quilt that is being turned into a Block of the Month….ring any bells…? ) I wrote about it 3 or 4 days ago….well…  Sentimental Stitches has released block #3 for the Beyond the Cherry Tree quilt.  Hurry over now to download it, as it is only available free for one month….then it goes into their online store.

Very simple!
