Progress on the Posies…

These sweet blocks, part of Summer Blossoms (by Primitive Gatherings) have been my hand stitching project for the past month or two…Slow and steady wins the race as I am please to say, the stitching has been completed!  Now come the special effects…or the stitching that will hopefully kick these blocks up a notch or two!

More than half of the blocks need embellishments like French knots and fancy stitching to add a little bit of pizzazz!  Yes, these blocks are about to become even cuter!  Can you stand it?

Looks like that’s what my evenings will consist of…lots more stitching…oh the excitement of it all!!  :o))

    It's going to be adorable! Mine is finished, but the more I look at it, the more I think I need to add a bit more quilting--maybe this winter--lol!

    The blocks are coming out beautifully. I do enjoy projects with appliqué blocks, nice to sit and stitch them at night.

    Doing a great job! I'm still working on PG's BOW of 2011 and 2012--hopefully they will get finished in 2015. Seems that too many other things crop up and stop my progress. Lol!
