Anne from Cotton N’ Wool Blog posted a blog entry about how her and a few friends were making THIS QUILT…so I of course jumped right in too!! After all, this quilt is on my Bucket List…
Time to reveal block NUMBER TWO!
Yup…two blocks down…
..with only ten more to go!
I’m liking this ‘quilt’…a lot! Now on to block Number Three! Thanks Anne…there’s nothing like a little bit of peer pressure to get the job done!! :)
Now hurry over to Anne’s to see what the girls have been building! By the time we are finished, we will have enough houses to make a small city!
Have a thrilling Thursday and Happy Quilting!~P
Oh so good! Mine lacks character with its missing windows and door and then I'm already behind! Go figure! I need to just get them all cut and ready to stitch and then get all those windows and doors on right?
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful - wish I could play along - but I'm playing to much already lol. Great job
ReplyDeleteWonderful blocks and I like the homespun.

ReplyDeleteLove your house blocks, all your quilts are going to be great!! Have fun playing along!
ReplyDeleteHave you heard of the "Building Houses from Scraps" movement that is going on in the quilt world? A quilter from Holland has started it and quilters from all over the world are busy putting their small scraps to good use. Some are building one house a day! I'm trying for two a month. If you google "building houses from scraps" you will probably get her blog and all the wonderful pictures of houses that are being built.

ReplyDeleteYour blocks are wonderful. Isn't this fun? I love the little "tweaks" to the pattern here and there. Lots of creativeness in our little "group".
