Perfect for a Fall Day…

Here’s the view from my sewing room window…very bleak don’t you think…see the blanket of mist in the distance…that is where Satellite Sound is…and in the distance I should see Salt Spring Island……sigh…. Reminds me of a Fall day on the Coast…(please excuse the screen mesh ;o))P1080033

So because of that blanket of mist…I get to work on this little blanket …I am almost finished quilting it..and then I’ll need to pull out my stash to find some binding fabric..maybe in green?…or gold…or burgundy red?

Mmmmm…I’m loving these colours- very rich and…perfect for a FALL day!  Hard to believe that tomorrow is the first day of JUNE!!

Have a magical Monday and Happy Quilting!!

Lovely Quilt & Colors! I think I have a few of those fabrics in my stash too. Quilting is a perfect pastime on those cold, damp days isn't it.
And love your view too!

Loving that quilt and it would be very welcome down here as we are officially in winter today. Although my organic gardening Italian neighbour scoffs at the idea of seasons starting on defined calendar dates. You go by the temperature of the earth! Cold is cold no matter what the date!

Thats a beautiful quilt Paulette. The colours are as you say so rich and warm and immediately make you want to pick it up and wrap it around you.

The quilt looks beautiful quilted.
We spent the day wondering why it smelled like burnt rubber and looked foggy out. Caught the weather and they said it was smoke fog, from canada. Must be bad fires to come this far down.

I love the quilt, the colours are gorgeous. As for the binding, why not sew lengths of each colour together and use that?

That is such a beautiful quilt - I vote for gold binding! Or maybe burgundy. Or green. Whichever you choose will be perfect!

Oh, your quilt is gorgeous! I love those country colours - you will have a wonderful quilt to snuggle under when fall comes!

...for now, enjoy summer - it will get there!
