This gorgeous crocheted bedspread has become a family heirloom made by an aunt who passed away and left it to her niece.  You can tell that her niece is just thrilled to be the owner and will cherish it forever.  I love it when people appreciate a handmade work of art.

It was SO good to be back at Club, to visit with old friends and talk quilty talk.  And of course Dawn and Claire and I went for lunch to continue on with the talk.  It wasn’t the same though, as our friend, Alice was missing.  Alice has become the Stage Manager for a local Theatre group and it WAS rehearsal time…the show must go on and all that jazz!!  So Alice…break a leg and hurry back for next month’s Club!

To all the Mothers out there, have a good one…hopefully spent with the ones you love most!!

Have a super Saturday and Happy Quilting!!
