So let’s just pick up where we left off…at the Quilter’s Haven in beautiful Bountiful, Utah. Bountiful is just a few minutes away from Salt Lake City and well worth the drive!!
You can see that Joni, the owner, has given the layout of this shop a lot of thought! Look at the cubbies for the fat quarters…and the lovely quilt display on top. I’m seeing all kinds of things that I didn’t see while I was there!! Maybe I need to go back? :o)
Schnibble quilts are even cuter done up and in real life…LOVE this one -Figgy Pudding.
Here’s a view from the back looking towards the door.
Lots of colourful quilts everywhere you look! Like this one…
..and this one..
And this one!
I really liked this quilt..simple but very effective!
I own this pattern…and seeing it made up made me love it even more…I have GOT to make it before Winter comes!
For the quilters out there who like to make bags…LOOK at what I found…the cutest leather handbag straps…aren’t they sweet and they were really reasonable…$8-14 which I thought was great! And look at the leather flower clips..
Tons of cute handbag patterns…
Some lovely wool patterns…
Loved the bed…all made up and look at the back screen with the lovely quilt draped over it!! Gorgeous!
Two stunning quilts on the brick wall…
And finally another little display..such beautiful scrappy quilts!
So if you find yourself in Salt Lake City then you HAVE to drive just little north to Bountiful…and have a look for yourself! Believe me it is worth the drive… you are going to LOVE Quilter’s Haven. The good news is if you can’t see it in REAL life then pick up next months copy of Quilt Sampler magazine and read all about the Quilter’s Haven!

That is another great thing about shopping, you see things that you didn't know, existed, lol. I do love to see finished quilts, sometimes just the pattern doesn't do it justice.

There's some wonderful quilts displayed in that shop. Thanks for showing us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pictures, especially the last one. I've been wanting to make that Jan Patek Wedding Ring quilt (in fact, I bought the pattern, but don't know where I've put it). Anyway, I hadn't seen it made up. It's renewed my interest in it... ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat shop is interesting.
