Why Reinvent the Wheel…??

I have had several requests to do a tutorial on how to do BIG stitch hand quilting…

image

Well, yesterday I stumbled onto a blog that did just that…Rachel did an AWESOME tutorial on BIG stitch hand quilting and you know my motto..WHY REINVENT THE WHEEL??!!  It’s WAY BETTER  than anything I could have done…so head on over to Stitched in Colour and have a gander…you will be VERY impressed!

So with Rachel doing all the work for me, think I’ll put my feet up for the rest of the day…and do a little stitching!!

Thanks, Rachel!  I needed that!

Have a Thrilling Thursday and Happy Stitching!!~P

  2. Wonderful big stitching. I visited her blog and she did an amazing job of teaching us how to on that.

Also loved the quilt show. Can't believe your winter/summer vacation is over so soon. Heading home is always wonderful too.

  4. Thanks so much, Paulette for mentioning Rachel's big-stitch tutorial. It is perfect for getting me motivated. I'm going to start off with a small Civil War quilt and see how that goes. But really, after looking at that tutorial, I've no excuse not to try it. Your red and white quilt is so beautiful, and, of course, the stitching is perfect.
