..said in my best Cary Grant impersonation…Seattle Judy REALLY out did herself!! Look at what she worked on last Wednesday during our day at the Clubhouse! Pretty impressive, hey? (notice the ‘hey’…yup…we are heading back to Canada…:)
These are all note book covers…Wool, hand appliqued to a dark cotton background…GORGEOUS!! The two bottom right ones are totally finished…and they are going to be Christmas gifts for her girl friends back home!!
Wouldn’t you be THRILLED to find one of these under YOUR tree?
Here’s a close-up of Judy’s work…A+ for sure!
Judy bought the patterns at the ‘Calico Horse’ in Redlands on one of our first runs to that shop!
Well..today is my last day in the Palm Springs area…the holidays over…do you hear the violins in the background?…and the ‘large’ lady is warming up her vocal cords…because it ain’t over till the..well you know the saying…!
SEW how am I going to spend my LAST day…well…Judy, Judy, Judy (couldn’t help myself) and I are going visiting…first to JoAnn’s (she is SEW SWEET…she is giving me a send off SALE!!) and of course I HAVE to say good-bye to my dear friend, Joe!! (You may know him as Trader Joe…) I thought I would pick up some of his delicious meals for the road home…he is such a good cook!
Then it’s back to the trailer to finish packing up. We are pulling out tomorrow morning…bright and early!! Let’s hope the snow has stopped falling on those mountain passes! It’s been a crazy Spring up north!
NOW can you tell me, where did THOSE FIVE months go?? Sheesh! Poof…gone!
Have a FUN Friday and Happy Quilting!~P

Don't forget to give us a holler when you come through Eugene, if you're hungry, and we'll meet for a bite. Oh, and don't let Rick go through Portland too fast...remember the Fabric Depot is open for business!
