FRAMED! And proud of it!

Remember this little topper??  I was auditioning borders for it about this time last year…and then I put it away while I looked for a frame to put it in!

Well let me tell you…I looked…and I looked…and I looked…

It took me a whole year but I THINK I have found one!!  It’s almost square…I was hoping to find a rustic SQUARE one but some things are not meant to be!

This one was at a Garage Sale…definitely rustic…but not quite square..CLOSE though…!

Once I get home I will play around with the little School House topper and see if I can get these two together!  If I do, I think it will be a match made in Schoolyard Heaven!

Oh and I failed to mention the best part…the frame was only $2!  SCORE! (Can you visualize me doing a little happy dance going down the driveway at this Garage Sale?...Don’t forget to add the sound effects…Those clicking noises are from my heels tapping together!)  “START THE CAR!”

Have a wicked Wednesday and Happy Quilting!~P

  1. I guess you find all the good bargains because you are one determined garage sale lady! I admire your stick-to-it-ness. Love to see your bargains.

  2. Always loved the schoolhouse block. I've made several but either gave them away or sold them. The rustic frame looks great ... I have a square one but the shipping to you wouldn't be worth it. Can Mr. Sweet P or you take it apart and trim the longer sides?

  8. Oh P. I have been so bad at catching up on blogs this winter! Look at you! I think your RV park is lovely compared to the many we saw here in Florida. So close together, so crowded. Also very transient groups. We found a happy home for us for a while.
I loved shopping around too. So different from back home.
You will be heading home soon too I am sure. We head back home around the 15th of April.
