Travelling Along…

Once the fog and mist dissipated, it turned into a gorgeous Autumn day…perfect for travelling!  The only OTHER thing to make it even more perfect would have been a Quilt Shop spotting…but alas…it was not meant to be!

I did do a little Autumn stitching though..Block One of the Heart to Hand Autumn quilt is done…although it needs a good pressing…

And I got a good section of Block Two done…the camera flash has washed out the colours..it is way more vibrant than this but you get the idea.P1150994

Here they are side by side…

Well I have my packing up jobs to do before we can roll on out of here…We spent the night in Canyonville at the Seven Feather’s RV Resort…

Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P

  3. Hand stitching wool is great for travel. I did a penny rug that way, had it all cut out and just had to bring black floss, scissors and some needles and I was all set.

  6. Looks like another prize-winning quilt to me. Safe trip through the mountains. Will there be snow? Another somewhat sunny day here, but very cold. Lots of frost that looks like snow. I'm so not ready for snow.

  9. I really enjoy your blog. Your blocks are just beautiful. Iam new to working with wool and I'm doing this quilt also. I've done quite a few penny rugs and I hope I can handle a project of this size!! I've got 2 blocks prepped and ready to sew....I will anxiously be waiting to see yours.

  10. Happy trails to you......I love your wool project.....my girlfriend travels in a motorhome and stitches real fast when they go over bridges that are real narrow. Or if it gets too nervracking she closes her eyes. Looking forward to tomorrow's adventure.
