TA-DAH…Claire has finished her O Tannenbaum Wool Runner and it is gorgeous!! I just HAVE to share how she finished it off…
The pattern calls for tongues and colourful pennies sewn on but Claire felt that it was just too busy and took away from the trees…so she added the tongues and then cut out a star shape and stitched it in…LOVE IT!! Very creative and it adds to the runner without being too much!
All of Claire’s wool projects are backed with another layer of wool to hide threads and give the project a nice weight.
Victoria had a skiff of snow this week so Claire managed to take a picture of it on the snow before it melted…very festive!! Now shake it off and get it back on a nice dry table where it belongs..actually Claire gave this little number to her Aunt Doreen, who of course was THRILLED!!
Now Claire is going to have to get busy and make one for herself!!
NO SNOW HERE!! YIPPEE! In fact I was sweating in this yellow top! Yes, I was out at our FIRST day of Garage Sales…and loving every moment!
My husband made this little collage of GS pictures…(did I mention that hubby doesn’t GS… instead he’s my chauffeur…drives me around and walks the dogs while I shop! What’d I tell ya…he’s a keeper!)
After GSing it was off to JoAnn’s with Karen, my partner in crime! I had an extra 60% off coupon which I HAD to share! Needless to say…it was a VERY fun day!
Have a Super Sunny Sunday and Happy Quilting!~P
