Our ‘RVing Motto’ is that when the weather is bad we go elsewhere…we make it our time to go and explore another area…and hopefully get some good weather in the process!
So Saturday morning when we woke up to the pitter patter of rain on the roof…my Hubby asked how I wanted to spend the day…I immediately thought of the Country Loft’s invitation to their annual Christmas Kit Sale! “Let’s head towards San Diego” I said (…well actually LaMesa..Country Loft Country!!) Now I happen to be married to the world’s most patient and wonderful man…he drives me here and there and asks no questions! He walks the dogs, takes his I Phone and surfs the Net, reads his book or goes off and sightsees on his own…so he is good for an hour or more!
Off we went!! Yahoo!! Country Loft here WE come!! Put on your seat belt…
After a two hour drive…WE ARE THERE!!
Here’s the front door…very festive, don’t you think?
Yikes! Was there room in there for one more? Of course there was!! This was the line-up to the till but we won’t worry about that until we get to that point!
I was greeted at the door by Kathy, JoAnn Mullaly’s (the world famous author of Wool Crazy) sister. She handed me a shopping bag and told me to feel free to take pictures! Such a nice lady!
So take pictures I DID! The whole shop was decorated for Christmas…a feast for the eyes!!
This quilt by Kathy Cardiff was hanging over a closet door…STUNNING!! I just HAD to buy the pattern!!
Just look at the close up!! Isn’t it lovely!!
And hanging under this quilt was another stunning quilt…I managed to lift the quilt on top to take this picture…just lovely…so I bought this pattern too!!
Sorry Santa but I wanted you to see the wee kits made up for each little project…placed in special boxes, jars or tied with twine! So cute!
More of Kathy Cardiff’s patterns…love them all!
A Dang cute kitty pillow…a JAM pattern…that’s JoAnn Mullaly for short!!
Another JAM creation…love them all!!
This is a Cheri Payne pattern that found it’s way into my shopping bag…Stunning in REAL LIFE!
BONUS!! This little Santa pattern comes with the star pattern!! Love them both!!
Cheri’s work is all over the shop…such a talented lady!
This was JoAnn’s BOM from last year…gorgeous!!
More Cheri…
I will have to stop here as sometimes the WIFI has a hard time posting so many pictures…I hope you come back tomorrow so that you can see the rest of the shop…there are about seven jam packed rooms filled with Christmas goodness!!
Have a Merry Monday and Happy Quilting!~P
PS..If you see anything that you like, I’m sure that Country Loft would be happy to accommodate you! Just go to the website…
THat looks like a place where I could spend an entire day - or two! Glad to hear you have such a cooperative hubby.
