As usual, there was lots of activity at Heritage this week! Check it out…
Hazel finished her star quilt…and it was lovely!!
As you can see all that quilting practice has paid off…her FMQ is gorgeous!
Hazel is now open for quilting business…and she is VERY reasonable!
This beauty is going on Hazel’s bed!
Delores’ grandson, Mason is going to flip when she gives him this wonderful I SPY quilt!!
Love the way she put pictures of the whole family here and there! Dang cute!
I also like the way the colour goes from light to dark…very effective!
Vickie finished her ‘Dress Me Up Frosty” wool mat!
Dang cute!!
Vickie’s stitches are outstanding! Just LOOK at those adorable clothes pegs!
Love this charity quilt…sorry that it is a bit blurry but you get the idea! Over thirty of these quilts have been made so far!
A beautiful cross stitch stocking was on display. Just lovely!
A Yellow Brick Road quilt…love the colours!!
Oh…Man…I love this quilt!! Doesn’t that yellow border make this quilt sing!
Love it!!
Now check out this WIP…it’s a Christmas Shirt…this is the back…
…and this is the front!! It’s going to Australia! How perfect…
Here’s the other side…incredible!!
A tumbler quilt made out of the cutest fabrics…
And this wall hanging is being donated to the SPCA! Lots of generous quilters in our group!
And here is the bathing beauty hippo…
That’s better…bring on those rays!
Tracy brought in her Christmas Row quilt…
Love it!! It’s a counting Christmas Quilt…at the top is One Santa, then two candy canes, three presents, four angels and so on!
SEW sweet!!
Myrna finished this cozy sweater…
…and these festive Halloween runners…gifts to her family!
And SEW concludes another week at Heritage! These women are such an inspiration…makes you want to fire up that ol’sewing machine!! Or at least dust it off!
Yesterday a new Quilt Shop opened up in my neck of the woods… I think I’ll go and check it out…I’ll take my camera and give you a full report tomorrow! In my dream last night, it was stocked with Civil War Fabrics , homespun and wool…and looked an awful lot like The Country Loft…! :o) Fingers crossed…
Have a wonderful Wednesday…Hope to see you tomorrow!! Same time, same place? ~P
