I’m off to Victoria this morning so I need to make this quick! As usual Heritage Quilt Guild was a hive of activity this week with lots of wonderful projects reaching completion…
Just check out the Show and Tell…
A gorgeous Sampler quilt finished and ready for hanging!
Check out this quilt, which is going to the the quilter’s very lucky grandson…he is going to flip when he sees that it has a detachable KITE!!
Adorable…or what!!
And here is our Charity lady, Betty…another Charity quilt finished…and it is a beauty!! She makes these quilts LOOK fast and easy…but I know they aren’t! Hazel did a wonderful job quilting this scrappy happy quilt!
But wait…Betty finished TWO quilts this week! Betty is a real whizz when it comes to our charity quilts! Do you think she loves to quilt? :)
Isn’t this nine patch darling? How does she do it? She takes whatever fabric she can find and whips them up into masterpieces!
Diana brought in her finished Crabapple Hill quilt…spectacular!! It was at the Cowichan Exhibition and it was sporting a few ribbons! Diana’s work is sheer perfection!
Diana entered the following two quilts into the Northwest Quilt Show in Portland, Oregon and both picked up ribbons!!
Her first quilt was entered into the Machine Embroidery Division…
Gorgeous…and love the colours!
And her wee Grandmother Garden quilt picked up a third for Hand Quilting!! Congratulations, Diana!! You are our quilting Super Star!
Greer finished her wee hexagon quilt called ‘Merry-Go Round’ and it is gorgeous!!
It’s a crib size quilt and so incredibly sweet….
And it’s all hand quilted in itty-bitty stitches…very nice!
Such a happy quilt, Greer!!
And a lovely way to end today’s show!
Have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping by!~P
