This Mitt’s a WINNER…

…and he’s dang cute to boot!!

P1200757

I mean REALLY…doesn’t this Mitt get your vote?

P1200756After stitching up these darling ornaments, my friend, Dawn is now smitten with wool!  Yup, we have another Wool Crazy on our hands!!

And it’s all because of this pattern, ‘Warm Hands’ by Rachel of Greenfields!

I’m not sure which Mitt is my favourite…

P1200754

Wouldn’t they be sweet if they held a gift card or a pair of earrings or a rolled up fat quarter?

P1200755

  Yup…a very sweet gift!

P1200758

And just LOOK at Dawn’s wee, itty bitty stitches!  Perfection!

Welcome to the World of Wool, Dawn!

P1200761

If you want a Mitt of your own…here’s where to find the pattern…

P1200751

Dawn’s pattern came with the kit to make all six of these ornaments.  It’s a good way to find out if you would like to dabble in wool…without investing a lot of money and time.  You can order it HERE!

Thanks for stopping by…and thanks to all of the wonderful quilters who left comments involving threads for Mid-Arms!  You are the best!  What an endorsement for So Fine #50 Thread…and Superior Threads in general!

Have a wicked Wednesday and Happy Quilting!~P

  3. I have seen some cute sets at the local quilt shop and they are really cute. Haven't made any though.

  4. Those are sure cute, Paulette. I've never been able to be comfortable wearing mittens, so I would have to sew fingers on them, and defeat the whole purpose. They are very decorative, and "wooly", though. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Very cute! Love the gingerbread man...and the skate...and the tree...and, well you get the idea. :-0 I checked out the kit though and it comes with wool felt, not wool. Still, very cute!

  9. I had saved a couple pictures of mitten ornaments to Pinterest very recently. Probably the same as these. I like. Would look good on my prim tree.
