It was exactly a year ago last week (July 9th) that I started blogging!!
As I look back, I see it as a year of growth…BIG time!! I knew how to send an email, surf the net and lurk around other people’s blogs..oh I was REALLY good at that!! But ME blog, no way!! It was my husband who encouraged me to go for it! He set up my blog and I took notes as he showed me how to do everything…and I would call him every time something went ‘wrong’….and that was often!
Now here it is…one year later…I rarely ever call my hubby for help..in fact he never sees me…just kidding!!
Before blogging I also didn’t know how to download my pictures…I would hand the camera over to my hubby and he would magically put them onto my computer. Now I do all that, edit it them, crop them, rotate them and add light or dark. I can even change my Header and thanks to Kaaren I can now add a Button to my sidebar with a link!! It’s amazing what you learn while you blog-along!!
And that is just the technical aspect of blogging…who knew that I meet so many WONDERFUL, TALENTED, CREATIVE, HELPFUL quilting bloggers!…I have exactly 268 followers…and who knows maybe even a few lurkers! ;o) I have friends from all over the world…you should hear me talk to my quilting friends here at home…”well my Australian quilting friend said….” and “My friend from Finland…” I’m such a name dropper…:o) To my blogging buddies I would like to say thank you for taking the time to comment, send me encouragement, praise, help, feedback, even ask if there is something wrong when there REALLY was something wrong! Thank YOU for caring!!
