Just FEAST your eyes on this beauty!! Hazel had just finished quilting it for a member of Heritage Quilting…and was returning it to it’s owner! I think she hated the thought of returning this gorgeous quilt!
I love The Double Wedding Ring quilt and have it on my TO DO LIST…someday!
I would have never thought of putting a flowery rose border like this on it but doesn’t it add a romance and sparkle to this quilt!!
Ahhhh….I needed a little quilty eye candy this morning as I head outside to pull weeds! I love to ‘think quilts’ as I work out in the yard! Yup…I’ll be thinking of rose borders as I dead head my own roses!!
Have a terrific Tuesday and Happy Quilting!~P

So pretty!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for showing this quilt .... what a beauty it is!
ReplyDeleteI used to teach a Double Wedding Ring class using Shar Jorgensen's template set. I read somewhere that the Double Wedding Ring pattern is the most recognized quilt pattern there is....even to people who aren't at all familiar with quilt names.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful quilt!
